Two years ago I built a tool in my spare time that used AI to review customer calls automatically. I showed it to the right person and got hired on the spot. Eighteen months later I was running AI for the whole company — a regulated financial services firm, where nothing ships until it's been checked, audited, and proven it won't break something that matters.
That's the part most people teaching AI don't have. It's easy to build something that works in a demo.
